"Eye See...Eye Learn" is a FREE childhood eye health and vision awareness program for eligible children entering Kindergarten in Alberta. This program provides any kindergarten-aged children who have had an eye exam with an Optometrist and require glasses to be provided with a free pair.
Kindergarten students are eligible to participate in the program from September until they begin Grade One. If your child requires glasses, then he/she is eligible for a free pair.
Your child will receive a pediatric eye exam by an Optometrist, covered by Alberta Health Care. If your child is in kindergarten and requires prescription glasses, he/she will receive a free pair. These glasses are covered by a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
It does not have to be your child's first pair of glasses
No. Bring your child for an eye exam and we will take care of the rest! Please also bring along your child's Alberta healthcare card.
